Mums Birthday Cake
This is the cake I made for Mums birthday. Not the first time I've made a cake but the first time I have used ready to roll icing! Not my favourite type of icing. I think the problem here was to much icing sugar when rolling - never mind, practise makes perfect - at least I hope it will, lol.
I cut the flowers out with my new blossom cutters and the piping round the bottom is a piping tube from Morrisons. The bit lace was from my cardmaking stash.

Oh Yum! This is brilliant! And the first time you have iced a cake? I must dig out the piccie of my first Christmas cake last year, it would give you a laugh. You obviously have the gift. I don't!
