Mother's Day - Sketch Saturday

Well, HELLO! Long time no see, lol. I have been out of blogland for so long I have forgotten how to do some things. This is the first card I have made in over a year!! Mum and I went to the SECC last week and I thought I better make use of the few things I bought since I still have stuff from the Art Stamps Fair last year that I haven't opened yet.

Anyway, lets get to the reason we're here. I made this card for my mum for Mother's Day and I would like to enter it into Sketch Saturday since I followed their fab sketch.  I'm quite pleased with this one since I was a bit worried when I sat down to do it and couldn't for the life of me remember how to colour an image!!!

I've used a mix of watercolour pencils and promarkers. The image is LOTV. The papers are Forever Friends. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hello again

Hello everyone. Long time no see, lol. I have been very busy with family life over the past few months and not had any time for crafting or blogging really - haven't felt much like it either really. I have been making a few cakes when the need arises though.  So, the wee man starts school on Wednesday and I may indeed have some me time then and  I thought I would have a fresh start and begin a new blog - just for my cakes just now and hopefully, the cards will come again soon.
