HELLO EVERYONE

I thought I would make a quick post just to say hello. I have sadly not got anything to post as all my stash is still packed into boxes for the move. Was meant to be Wednesday but I have been delayed again. I get my keys on Tuesday now, so, fingers crossed I won't have to wait to long before I can make a card again. I think I will go and pinch some of my mum's things because we received our new Whiff of Joy spring stamp kit yesterday and I can't wait to colour some of those gorgeous images.
Anyway, I am off now to pack some more. I hope to be back soon with something to show

WHIFF OF JOY STAMP RELEASE

I can't believe there are more new stamps on the way from WOJ. These ones are Charlie and Charlotte designed by Alison Acton and so far they look fab. I love Charlottes Castle and can hardly wait to get my hands on it. I am eagerly awaiting my stamp kit and there are new ones coming along too. I think I will be bankrupt soon, lol!
Anyway, pop over to Katharina's blog to check out these gorgeous stamps and also find out how to enter the new release candy she is so very generously offering, once again!

Thank You

Hello everyone. I wanted to say thank you to both Lorraine and Terri for the lovely emails they sent to let me know they had received their candy prize. Lorraine has made a card with one of the images already so pop over and take a look. Terri has only just received her parcel since she is further away and the snails are even slower to get to her! Looking forward to what she comes up with. Anyway, Thank you both. And, now that both ladies have their parcels, I can show everyone the cards that they received their images in...

And say Thank You to my mum for making these cards. I decided that I wanted to send a nice card with the images inside and, my mum had just made the 'sweet n sassy card' so I asked if I could have it. I also said that I needed one more and so she made the other one too. I think they are absolutely gorgeous! Don't you? I have decided that I am going to show some of the cards she makes from now on cos she won't have her own blog, even though she loves to look at everyone else's, and I think that they are too lovely not to show.

So, hope Terri and Lorraine liked the cards that mum made for them.

P.S. Mum has told me that the bottom picture is not the actual card that was sent but it is quite close.

'Snowmanny' Fun

As you are all probably aware by now, we had snow in Edinburgh yesterday. Now, it wasn't enough to keep the kids home from school but, it was enough that it was still there when they got home after school. Usually, it has stopped and melted away by late afternoon. So, we all went out to have some fun. Jack and Kim wanted a snowball fight, along with their Dad and Jack's friend. Wee Steven couldn't remember the snow from last year so he was fascinated with it. He just kept calling it 'snowmanny. We had lots of fun and built a big snowman, a middle snowman and a mini snowman.

This final one is Steven going into the garden next door for all 'their' snow because his is finished!

Back to normal today, though, just drizzle and grey skies!
