I don't think Kim is going to be too happy with me but, never mind, lol!
This is when Kim was in Primary 6 (about 9/10 years) and her school put on a performance at the local high school. She was so happy to get her photo taken, lol!
Anyway, I am supposed to pass this onto six people now but, I am not feeling too great and I think everyone I would pass this too have already been tagged. So, if you are reading this and have not been tagged then please pick it up ands pass it on. Thank you.
Thanks again Lorraine, sorry I didn't pass it personally.
This card is for Challenge #35 over at Sketch Saturday. This is a brilliant sketch by Jo and the prize is fabulous also...Emma Lockley is giving away a bunch of products and also offering a discount on the products. Pop over and check out her blog.
I am also going to enter this one in the Secret Crafter Sater Challenge #16. This is the first time I've entered this one. I used the sketch above and chose 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments and then put it all together.
I know I am quite late in the week with this but, I really enjoyed working with the recipe and the sketch and thought I would enter them.

This card was made using the sketch by Julee on the Mojo Monday challenge blog. This is the first time I have been on the blog and let me tell you, I am glad I found it. I have bought some new papers, ribbon, even a couple of stamps and still... nothing! Untill, I saw this sketch! I dug around in my stash and found these baby papers and came up with this. Hope you like it.

I want to say thank you very, very much to Zoe for this wonderful award. I am the proudest person ever. It is a joy to display this on my blog. Now, since I can't pass it back to you then I need to pass it somewhere else to keep it moving. I am going to pass it to 5 of the people whose blogs I love to look at and I apologise if you ave already received it.
Okay, here goes:
Thank you once more, Zoe.
Oh my goodness! I have received another award. Again, this is an honour. It is good to know that somebody enjoys my work. So, thank you again, Lorraine!
However, I have been informed by my wonderful daughter that she gave me an award ages ago. So, I also want to say thank you to my daughter and I am sorry that I didn't come and pick it up.
Now, this award states that:
This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY- nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to 8 bloggers who may then pass it on.
I would like to pass this to
5.)Suzanne (not me, lol)
Sorry if you already have this. I think its the thought that counts!
Thank you again to Lorraine and Kim and anyone who takes the time to stop by

I have just found a new challenge blog and they are looking for Design Team Members. Unfortunately, I have to tell all you talented cardmakers about it so, I now don't stand a chance, lol!
"I'm starting up Inspirational Card Sketches in order to share my inspiration with you.
I'm looking for 6 designers who love creating cards.
You will also get to embellish your cards however you want. My sketches are for your inspiration only. And to help others get ideas on how to use these sketches."
So, I thought that I would give it a try. I must be feeling good after receiving that lovely award, lol!
And the inside:
Hope you like my card as much as I do.
Any nice comments are appreciated.

I have just received this award from Lorraine. Thank you very much, Lorraine. This is the first award I have been given and it is an honour to receive it. It is nice to know that someone enjoys looking at your work and takes the time to tell you. It makes it all worthwhile. Now, I have to tell 7 of my favourite things and pass this onto 7 people. This is the difficult bit:
1.) My Family
4.)Shopping for Craft Supplies
And now onto 7 people to pass this onto. I am sorry if you already have this award but I would like to pass it onto my 7 favourite blogs:
I have passed this onto thwe people who give me all my inspiration. I think they do fab work and I love looking at their creations.
I am sorry that I have not posted anything for a long time. We are going to be moving house soon. Not sure exactly when, but soon. We are waiting for some repair work to be done first. So, I decided to be super organised and pack everything that we don't use very often into boxes. Then, I had all these big boxes lying around so, I thought to myself 'Surely, it won't take long for the repairs to be done. If I pack up all the craft stuff in the dining room then I can store all the boxes in there for a week or two.' And, that's what I did! And now, we are onto week 3 of waiting and I was going to go even more crazy than I normally am so... I opened all the boxes and started rummaging, lol!
Anyway, onto my card. Got this paper on Saturday when I was out shopping and I have been dying to use it. It's all glittery and foiled. Hope the recipient likes the card as much as I do cos I'm quite pleased with this one.
Thanks for stopping by

Now, for the fun:
My son has written down everyone's names on a bit paper, cut it up and stuck everyone into the hat ( well, the ice cream tub, LOL):
Now my daughter is giving it a good shake and...
she chooses the first winner...
And now, another shake...and my son chooses winner number two...
And, the wee one wants a turn too, lol.
Congratulations to you both. If you would like to email me with your postal address then I will get both parcels into the snail mail system, lol!
Thanks once again to everyone who takes the time to visit my blog and leave me lovely, encouraging comments.
Please see newer posts for winners.

I have made a Valentines Card. This may not seem very unusual but, I have never made one before. The image is Sarah Kay - First Kiss and has been coloured with watercolour pencils and twinkling H2O's. The card is Anita's A6 and is covered with Bo Bunny Back to Backs - Beau Jardin Clover paper which was a 12x12 sheet I had to cut down. Image is mounted onto a small piece of the background paper but using the other side. This is then mounted onto green mirror card once and then, with foam pads inbetween, mounted a second time and attached to the base card. The sentiment is one which was free with some Sugar Nellie stamps at the craft fair and was cut with circle nesties. The ribbon is from my stash. I have added some adhesive gems to the dots on the sentiment and to each end of the ribbon.
This image has been coloured for about 10 days now and I have been unable to decide what to do with it. Quite like the way it turned out and will now use it for Valentine's Day

This card is my entry for the challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar, which is a sketch by Nikki. I hope I amn't too late to enter. I seen the challenge last week and I thought to myself "what a fab sketch, nice and simple". However, I didn't realise the time had passed so quickly. I coloured the image on Saturday night and then put the card together yesterday. I was just finishing it when... the kids all decided to join me round the table. Kim doesn't need much help but Jack gets a bit carried away with the craft knife and Wee Steven loves the scissors! Anyway, here is the finished card at last.
Starting with a square Anita's base card and covering with paper that Kimberley unearthed from her bedroom. The image is Sugar Nellie by Elisabeth Bell, coloured with watercolour pencils that I got for the kids in the reduced section at my local Tesco for 96p! lol! I thought I'd see what they were like. Mounted onto pale lilac card and put on base card with foam pads. The flowers and brads are from WH Smith. I added some pink stickles to the brads (sugar coated). The pale lilac ribbon across the bottom is from my stash. The sentiment is a stamp from my stash on pale lilac cs and cut with wavy scissors.
Really pleased with this one! Not usually a flowery person. Hope I'm not too late for the challenge.
Katharina over at Whiff of Joy is giving away some abulous candy to celebrate the release of the new stamp kit designd by Elisabeth Bell. Make sure you stop by quick to pre order your stamp kit and, to be in with a chance of winning one also, pop over to Katharina's blog. How generous! Thanks Katharina.

Hello everyone. At last, I have a card! This card was made for my neice, who is 2 today. The base card is a square Anita's one, covered with 'Provence Polka' from The Paper Company. The strip of CS down the side is from my stash and has been run through the Bug with the 'Spots & Dots' embossing folder. The image is, I think, Penny Black which I received from Josianne and is coloured with the Watercolour pencils and Twinkling H2Os I got for Christmas. It is matted onto CS from my stash and cut with my new circle nesties in the Bug. The greeting is from Craftwork Cards and the small flowers are from WH Smith with adhesive gems from Dovecraft added to the middle.
I am making this card my entry into 3 challenges as it covers them also.
The first is Penny Black Saturday Challenge, which i haven't entered before. This one was to use 'embossing' and I have done with the strip down the side of the card. I have also embossed the flowers in a way too.
The second is the Cute Card Thursday Challenge, again, one I haven't entered before. This one was to use any 'new craft goodies you received for Christmas'. I hae used my watercolour pencils, twinkling H2O's and my classic and scalloped circle nesties.
And, finally, the third is the Papertake Weekly Challenge. This week, the theme is to use 'Spots'. I have used a spotty background paper, circle nesties and spots and dots embossing folder. The adhesive gems in the middle of the flowers are also spots.
I have also used my new stamp which I got from Ebay on the back of my card. You can get the link for the stamp from Bev's blog here. Thanks very much, Bev!
Anyway, I am quite pleased with this card and now I need to go and buy a birthday present. Why do I always leave everything to the last minut lol?!

Isn't he just gorgeous?! My 2 year old, Steven, loves Fireman Sam. Since there is an alarm clock at the start of the theme tune, he calls it BRING!!! This is him after he had opened all his presents on Christmas Day. My sister got him the outfit, even though she had to pay a fortune for shipping. He loves it!
