Some News

Hello again everyone. I am back with another quick post - I still feel quite awful...My lovely Doctor gave me some antibiotics today for my throat and chest so I will go to the chemist for them tomorrow...then hopefully, I will feel better.

Anyway, the reason for my post...you may have heard that there is a new challenge blog starting soon (13 May - I think) called 3D Cards Challeneg Blog. It is being run by Renate and there will be a new challenge every fortnight on a Thursday. You must use a 3D image. It sounds like lots of fun AND...I am proud to announce that I am one of the lucky people to have been chosen to be part of the design team. I am absolutely delighted and am really looking forward to working with Renate and the rest of the team. I just hope that I can rise to the challenge, lol.

Pollycraft Surprise Candy and Special Fundraising Ronnie Digi

Lots of Challenges

Hi everyone. Very quick post as I'm very tired tonight and have had a bad headache since about 3pm so, I am off to bed straight after this - too many late nights blog hopping.

Made this last night for my sisters birthday - hope she doesn't look till after it or I'll need to make another one, lol.

Ingredients:
Image: Tilda (don't know her name, lol);
Medium: Watercolour pencils;
Design Paper: Karen Neuburger (had it forever, lol);
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts (coloured with Promarkers);
Other Stuff: Pearls and cardstock from stash, stickles.

I added frosted lace stickles to her hair and cheeks to give it a bit of sparkle and some pink to the wee dots on her dressand to the buckle on her shoes. Used purple, green and pink for the flowers in the basket.

Cupcakes

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well. I don't know what is going on with this weather - one minute it's lovely sunshine and the next it's pouring down - what a joke ehh.
Anyway, I've not got anything crafty today because my mojo seems to have gone walkabout - funny, it seems that everyone is feeling the same way at the moment...either not making stuff or not liking what they do manage to make!

So, for as bit of a change, I thought I'd stick a few pics up of non crafty stuff...

This is one I managed to catch of Kim when we were out at the park for a picnic a couple of weeks ago - stuffing har face, lol

This is the lovely box of chocs I got from my friend, Lizzie, for my birthday...it was at the start of the month but I only see her now and again. Although I love the chocs...I REALLY love the box, lol.

Now, for the last pics, I got a lovely cake stand a few weeks ago at Dunhelm Mill and never got round to using it yet...I thought it was going to be another one of those things that sit about doing nothing and then I saw these fab mugs at Dobbies Garden World and I just had to buy them, lol.
So, I have been making some wee cupcakes to go with the stand and my new mugs...

No laughing at the icing on the cupcakes...it's the first time I've used a piping bag...and Wee Steven done a couple too, lol.

Just Magnolia, Passion for Promarkers and Simon Says Stamp Challenges

Hello everyone. Ihope this is going to be a quick post because I have so much to do and so little time! Steven had the child health clinic this morning for a check up, then pick up mum at 12, nursery drop off at 12.15...Mum at hospital at 2.10...Pick Kids up from Gran and drop them and mum off...then drop the car at the garage so as it can get serviced tomorrow...Phew. And all this from someone who spend the afternoons making cards and blogging, lol.
