Crafty Catz DT - Material Girl (or BOY in this case)

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunny weather we have been getting recently. I have once again had a mad week and feel like I have been rushed off my feet yet don't seem to have done much - if you know what I mean, lol.

I am late again with my DT card for the Crafty Catz Challenge blog and I must apologise to all the other girls. Hopefully, things will settle down this weekand I 'll be a bit more organised (at least, that's the plan, lol).

Anyway, without further ado, it was Lindseys turn to set the challenge and she has chosen the theme of 'Material Girl' - to use material somewhere on your project. So, I have used some lace around my project. My uncle and his girlfriend had another baby on Wednesday so I thought I would make them some 'Baby Jam' - a complete baby outfit jammed into a jar!

Ingredients:
Babygro, vest, mittens, hat and bib from Tesco;
Plastic container from Sainsburys;
Lace and Flowers from Mum's stash;
Nesties and Cuttlebug.

Challenges:
Cute Card Thursday: Textin' Crazy;
Paper Play: Anything Goes;

I actually got the idea from a shop I was in the other day in Stockbridge area in Edinburgh. They had lovely wee jars and they just had a plain label and a wee baby outfit jammed into them and they were lovely ( and very expensive, lol) so I thought I'd give it a go, but I had to use some of Mums stash because I had to do it as soon as I got back from the shops, lol.

The bottom of the jar has a label with the 'ingredients' list. and Jack very kindly, pointed out to me that I have put the wrong birthdate on the top - oh dear. Will need to fix that.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and look. Please check out the rest of the DTs fantastic work and I can't wait to stop by and see what you create to play along with us this week.

Crafty Catz DT - Summer Time

Well, I amn't really sure where all my time is going at the moment but I just seem to be so disorganised and unable to get anything done on time. I think it must be the school holidays having a bad effect on me and I think i must be sleeping to late in the mornings and that is probably why I feel like I am chasing the cows tail, lol! I am determined to get up nice and early tomorrow and get stuck into this house! I done the bottom ahlf this evening so it's just upstairs to do in the morning.

I went to the gym for the first time the other night and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I wasn't too sore either, lol so, supposed to be going again tomorrow...we will see what happens, lol!
On Saturday, My friend and I went to Gasgow with Steven and my friends wee girl, Sophie to see MIckey Mouse and his camper van tour. What a laugh - NOT! The queue was right out the centre and all round the square. I think it was about a three hour wait. We were very lucky that we didn't have to queue that long-I don't think Steven would have managed...he didn't even want to wait the half hour that we waited!!! AND, when we got to the front of the queue...he was scared!!! I don't know why I bother sometimes. I will try and post some pictures soon!

Anyway, onto the card. Firstly, though, I must apologise to the rest of the DT because I am soooo late in posting this...it should have been done on Friday. But, better late than never. I thought I'd go for something a wee bit different this week. The theme is 'Summer Time' at Crafty Catz this week and we are lucky enough to be sponsored by Sew Many Cards who are offering one lucky winner a choice of 5 Digi Images from their shop. Now, when i think of summer, I always think of lots of lovely flowers> Now, I seen one of these made in a shop the other day and thought I'd give it a go so, I found a tutorial for it and set to work.

WOYWW

Morning everyone. I hope that you all have got better weather than I have here. It is pouring down and it looks more like a day inthe middle of winter than one in summer!! Never mind, an excuse for another lazy day, lol.
Wednesday today, halfway through the week and time for another WOYWW. I really enjoy this, lol. I think it's because I'm such a nosy parker, lol.

Not much different from last week, I'm afraid. Some different papersw out, a new Docrafts magazine, a bunch of cards that need put away, a set of mini screwdrivers (steven keeps pulling the curtain pole down in the bedroom) and OMG - a whole load of peel offs!!! I needed a sentiment fast the other day so hauled these out, lol - they do come in quite handy.

Anyway, thats it - I am off to have a nose round everyone else's space
Thanks for stopping by

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all well. We, in Edinburgh, are now one week into the summer holidays...only 6 to go, lol. It is quite difficult trying to think what to do to amuse them all the time. And, I have a big gap age gap between all mine so they all like different things which makes it even more difficult. NThis one has already been given to my Gran as it was her birthday on Tuesday so that timed itself very nicely, lol. ow, I am expecting a huge response to this one because, it couldn't be easier. The only rules being that it must be a 3D image, decoupage sheet or stamped image, and also, that you only link to new work please. Thsi makes it fair to everyone taking part. So, onto the card.

WOYWW

Afternoon everyone. I am in lazy mode today. I just can't get myself motivated at all. I got up this morning and made breakfast for me and Wee Steven and then took it back to bed. Steven watched cartoons and I read my book until...well, I won't tell you what time I ventured out of bed again, lol. You would be ashamed of me, haha. I have since cleaned the bathroom and my bedroom and put some things away into the attic but...I have now done the worst thing possible...sat down at the pc again, lol.

So, whilst I am being lazy, I thought I would join in the fun over at WOYWW again this week. But, there's not really much different on my desk from last week...

There is a card in progress there but I am really going to have to be strict with myself this evening and force myself to make it, lol.

Some images I printed out last night and some papers here.

This one is the shelf unit that sits to the left of my desk and really needs a tidy up.

This is the left side of my desk and again, needs tidied up, lol.

This is my new storage space, lol. A spice rack from IKEA. Have actually had it for about 7 months now but have only just got it up and still haven't put my things on it properly, lol.

So, that's it today. Off to have a snoop around everyone elses desks and storage ideas now.

One Large Egg and One Smaller Egg

Good afternoon everyone. I don't have a card to show today as I went off on a jaunt on Sunday and when I got home on yesterday, I was absolutely shattered. My friends and I had sat up very late on Sunday evening chatting and then when we did go to bed, Kim started to feel sick and, being the drama queen that she is, lol...she needed me to rub her back for her - at 2.30, 4.30 and 6am - then it was up, washed and dressed at 8am!!! Needless to say, there was no actual sickness adn she made a dramatic recovery when everyone jumped into the swimming pool yesterday morning, lol.

I have made a card but it's for my Gran for her birthday and also covers my DT card for 3D Cards on Thursday so I will keep it till then. So, I thought I would leave you with a couple of pics from our jaunt. We were only in the caravan park half an hour when Steven fell and crashed into the concrete creating HUGE egg no1 and then 5 minutes later Egg no2 - thankfully much smaller than the first.

Egg #1:

Egg #2:

Didn't stop him being Spiderman though, lol:

My Big Boy:

My friends daughter, Sophie:

My Big Girl:

We had a lovely time though, despite the eggs, and can't wait for the next time.

Sadly, the fun must end and I am off to a friends funeral today so , I will leave you with my pics and hope to have a card tomorrow.

Thanks for looking

Good afternoon folks! Hope you are all good. I did have a card to show today but thought I would give it to the recipient before I post it on my blog. And, since she is in Berwick upon Tweed for the weekend, I guess that means I will need to go down and spend the night, lol. So, chucking myself and the kids some pj's and clean clothes in a bag and then off to join my friends in their caravan for the night.
Just wanted to say Happy 4th July to everone in usa. See you all tomorrow night when I get backhome
