Kim's Digi's

Hi everyone. A quick post from me just now as I am off to play the WII with Jack - tennis - should be quite funny. I just wanted to post a card I have made today using the new image that my daughter has drawn. I am absolutely delighted that she is finally putting her talent to use. She isn't very confident about her drawing but she seems to like this wee fairy girl. I just have to convince her to make the gorgeous eagle she drew into a digi now. Thank you to the people who have already left Kim a comment about her digi and also to the people who have already purchased it. I am sure her confidence will soon soar with all the support.

So, here's the fabulous image and if you click it, you will hop over to Kim's blog where you are able to purchase this for the fab price of £1...

And, here's the card I made with it this afternoon...

Image from Kim's Digis, coloured with copics and promarkers. Flowery design papers, Lace from stash and some gorgeous flowers all topped with Glamour Dust.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Emma's: Angels & Fairies;
Do It With Digi's: Pink and Girly.

Thanks so much for stopping by and any comments you may leave. please, if you have a moment, stop by Kim's blog and wish her well in her new venture

A friend of my daughter, Kim, became an aunt for the first time yesterday so I had an excuse to make a card for a baby girl...it's been all boys lately. This one, I had actually even forgotten that I had bought, lol...it's even possible that I haven't even stamped it up before. Anyway, here's my card and please stop by and check out the rest of the DTs fantastic work.

First 5 Commenters

Hello everyone. I have just copied this from Lindseys blog. I thought it was a fantastic idea and wanted to join in right away. So...It's time for a bit of fun. I've entered a Pay It Forward over at Abi's blog so it's my turn now to Pay It Forward.

I promise to send something handmade to the first 5 people who comment on this post. However, there is a catch, you must repost this, offering something handmade to 5 other people. The rules state that it MUST be something handmade or homemade by YOUand must be sent to 5 other people during 2011.

If you would like to join in the fun, then be the first to post a comment and something handmade or homemade will be coming your way this year.

Great, right?? let's just hope there are 5 folk who would like something made by me...and now, to figure out what to make, lol.

Fab n Funky DT - Animal Magic

Hello everyone. It's time for a new challenge over at Fab n Funky. I didn't think this card was going to get done, to be honest. Things are a bit mad round here at the moment. Wee Steven has decided to go back to nursery which may sound like I should have more time to myself but, actually...he is even more hard work than normal after nursery. It seems to make him very hyper and if I leave him alone, even to go to the loo, he wrecks the place! So, doesn't leave much room for card making I'm afraid.

So, this weeks theme is 'Animal Magic' so we would like to see your creations with an animal on them. We are lucky enough to have a fab sponsor again this week

who are very kindly offering one lucky winner either 5 digital images OR 4 images and one digital paper set of their choice.

The girls on the DT were lucky enough to receive some images to play with so here is my card for the challenge and please stop by and visit the rest of the DT to see their fabulous work. I apologise for the poor picture. It was either too light or too dark so I went with the best of the bunch, lol.

Ingredients:
Image: I Toadily Luv You from Robyn's Fetish;
Medium: Promarkers;
Papers: I have no idea because I have stuck it to the card, lol;
Sentiment: Robyn's Fetish;
Tools: MS Hearts Border Punch; Cuttlebug and Nesties.
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts;
Other: Glamour Dust.

Challenges:
Sketch N Stash: Sketch;
One Stitch At A Time: New (Flowers and Image);
Pile It On: Anything Goes;
Passion for Promarkers: All You Need Is Love;
Secret Crafter: With Love.

That's it from me. I will hopefully be back tomorrow with another card, fingers crossed as I type, lol. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you may leave. I appreciate each and every one of them

Crafty Catz DT - Food and Drink

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well. Iam posting my DT card for Crafty Catz just now because I think that when we get back from swimming I will just fall asleep. Steven never went to sleep until 11.50 last night and then not only was he awake screaming his head off that he 'wants to get up' and that he 'wants a story' during the night 2 or 3 times...but he thinks that it's ok to get up at 8.30am and be bright as a button. I have no idea where that child gets his energy from because it certainly isn't me or his dad, lol. I know some of you will be sitting there thinking...she had 8 hours whats she moaning about but by the time I had watched Criminal Minds (which I can only watch once he is sleeping) it was well after one and then I was disturbed during the night also. I swear I am gonna buy some ear plugs today and let the little tyrant scream tonight - have been saying that for four years now!!

OK, this week, we would like to see 'Food and Drink' on your creations. Anything you like...card, scrap page, box, back, picture, etc, etc as long as there is something edible on it. We are lucky enough to have a fab sponsor again this week

who have not only offered one lucky winner this fantastic prize

but they also very kindly gave all of us on the DT some images to use for the challenge too. I really enjoyed making this one and am quite pleased with how it turned out too.

Ingredients:
Image: Cupcake by Blackleaf Studios;
Medium: Promarkers;
Papers: Butterfly Kisses range from Nitwit Collections;
Sentiment: Handwritten;
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts;
Tools: Cuttlebug; Nesties: Swiss Dots Embossing Folder: MS Lace Doily Border Punch.

Challenges:
Create 4 Fun: Sketch ( I have missed this one but the sketches are fab every week);
Secret Crafter: Tons of Texture;
Stamp Something: January Digi Day;
2 Sister: Gettin Girly;
Crafty Purple Frog: New Things( Flowers and Image);
Charisma Cardz: Birthday Celebrations (Blogs 2nd birthday);
Crazy Challenge: All Things New;
Pile It On: Brand Spankin New.

That's it for me today. I am off swimming now. Maybe I will just chuck them all in and laze at the side, lol.

Thanks for stopping by

Just a few pics...

Hi all. I just wanted to share a couple of pics. We were building a new pc desk for our Jacks room the other night and...believe it or not... this is about the only time we get any peace! First of all, Jack has no interest in building stuff at all - so he just stays well out the way, usually on his xbox and secondly, Wee Steven is always in total awe at the tools that come out...

This one is when he puts his hand on it and says...I'm just touching it!

This one is when he has had 'the nod' from me to say ...ok, a wee shot!

And, finally, this one when he is totally engrossed in his 'work'!

He loves anything to do with tools...especially the moments when he gets to use the real ones, lol. That tool box you can see behind him was one of the presents Santa brought him. Yes, it's a real one - the exact one he asked for, lol.

Ok, I am off because he is too quiet and I think he may have the screwdriver set again

Hello again everyone. I am doing a quick post before I go to get Steven into bed...yes, I did get another nights sleep last night apart from him waking once but he went straight back to sleep. It is wonderful but...I won't uncross my fingers yet, lol.

Today's card is for 3D Cards Challenge. Another 'Anything Goes' theme to help ease you all in...just remember your image must be 3d. I enjoyed this card - possibly because I like the image so much...although it was a nightmare to get a decent pic of

Ingredients:
Image: Morehead decoupage sheet;

Sentiment: Cuddly Buddly;
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nesties;

Fab n Funky DT - Anything Goes

At last, normality seems to returning. Isn't it funny how we all wish for Christmas and a break and then we can't wait to get back into the swing of things, lol. Now, when I say normality, I do say it lightly. Yesterday, I was so tired and fed up of not getting any sleep that I ismantled my bed and put my mattress and Wee Stevens mattress on the floor in my room for us to sleep on. I wanted to see if he would sleep any better if he was next to me. And, it seemed to work last night...keep you fingers crossed for me though - I am hoping it wasn't just a novelty for him. I can handle being on the floor - if he sleeps, lol. So, I will keep you all posted on my progress, lol.

Anyways, we are back with a new challenge over at Fab n Funky this week. The theme is a nice easy one for you all - Anything Goes - to help you all get back in the swing of it...and me, lol. I needed a card for my younger cousins birthday on the 1st so made this one. Check out the rest of my teammates fantastic creations too and most importantly join us and have fun.

Ingredients:
Image: Cuthbert - free image from Pollycraft;
Medium: Promarkers;
Papers: All Spaced Out by Nitwit Collections;
Tools: MS Border Punch; Cuttlebug Embossig Folder.

Challenges:
Sketch and Stash: Fab Sketch;
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes;
Totally Gorjuss: Someone Special.

Now, I am off to do a bit more of the dreaded housework...or maybe I will just watch a dvd, lol.
Thanks for stopping by,

One I forgot about

Hi everyone. This is one of the cards I made and forgot to post. That doesn't happen to me very often but Christmas time was just so hectic that I forgot all about it. I made ift for Jack because I thought he would appreciate the image. You will have to excuse the terrible quality of the photo though, I am afraid.

Ingredients:
Image: Colouring Page from Elizabeth O.Dulemba;
Medium: Promarkers;
Papers: The Paper Company;
Sentiment: PC Generated; Craftwork Cards Circle Sentiment;
Tools: Holly punch;
Embellishments: Snowflake by Papermania.

I am now off to put the tree away. I always feel the house is such a mess after Christmas with all the new toys and stuff lying around and...with me lazing around doing nowt all day long - it' s not going to get any tidier, lol so, I thought I'd get the tree and deccys away and give a goody tidy up and see if we can resume some sense of normality around here.

Thanks for stopping by
